Last year the Parish Council held a survey to help to understand what equipment residents would like to see in a refurbished playground.
Thank you to everyone who took part.
Using this information, the Council have secured funding from Align and the Denham, Gerrards Cross and Chalfonts Community Board of Buckinghamshire Council and have added this to some Parish Council reserves.
In January the Parish Council went out to tender for a contractor to remove the current play area and install new play equipment that is accessible and inclusive. There were five plans submitted, and the Council have selected a design which gives maximum play value and fits within the natural environment.
The equipment has now been ordered and is being made and we expect the playground to be installed at the end of May/early June.
