Riverside Walk Refurbishment

RIVERSIDE WALK REFURBISHMENT

Following the flooding of Riverside Walk earlier in the year, The Revitalisation Committee and the Parish Council have agreed to have some repairs and refurbishment carried out to the paths in the area.

The work will begin on Monday 30 August 2021 and should take 2 to 3 days to complete.

Following on from this, The Conservation Volunteers will be working on the vegetation and river banks on 29 September and will be looking for volunteers to help with this work. This is one of their ‘Green Gym’ sessions where volunteers are guided in practical activities to improve the area. At the end of October, the wooden bridge over the Misbourne will be removed from the river to be refurbished. This will take approximately four weeks.
